Product Details
Totapuri mango is a highly popular commercial mango variety known for its distinct parrot-beak shape, firm flesh, thick skin, and mildly tangy taste. It is widely preferred because of its versatile use in fresh eating, juice production, pulp industry, and pickle preparation. The fruit has less fiber, high pulp recovery, and excellent keeping quality, making it suitable for bulk trade and processing.
Totapuri mangoes are especially valued for raw mango pickles, as their firm texture and balanced sourness give excellent taste and shelf life in pickle preparation. At the same time, semi-ripe and ripe Totapuri mangoes are used for fresh consumption, slices, juices, nectar, concentrates, and mango pulp processing. Its strong demand comes from both household consumption and food industries.
This variety is extensively cultivated in southern India, especially in Andhra Pradesh and is widely traded in domestic and export markets because of its high yield, transport strength, and industrial demand
